22 Oct 2014 – Updated Presentations – “How good is your investing judgement?”

Over the last few weeks I have prepared and delivered a new PowerPoint presentation to two groups entitled “What would you do? – How good is your investing judgement?”

This presentation shows a few share market price charts, and poses the question: “Your investment adviser or stock broker has just suggested you buy this stock – would you buy it or not?”

And the slides walk through the evolving price action over the following days and weeks, and talks about the stories in the price charts – remembering that the price charts summarise the opinions of the market participants, and it pays to understand those stories in the price charts.

This presentation was delivered to both the Templestowe Probus Group in September and the Manningham U3A group in October.
